- November 2008
- Mr. Pantazis wants one thing for Thanksgiving: a literary
agent. A bonus would be nice too, but he'll leave that wish for
Christmas. After a 3-week hiatus, Steve's writing group,
WolfWriters, is resuming. He has 2 short stories he's been
itching to share. In the meantime, Steve needs to finish up
several other stories currently in progress. Come on, big dog, git-r-done!
- October 2008 -
Steve brought the tally up to 45 agents in his quest for
representation. His original goal was to find an agent by the
end of October. No dice. At least he wasn't idle this month. He
joined FanStory.com and
FieldReport.com, two great sites for writers. He also
authored a couple new short stories for his upcoming
collection and entered 10 different stories into contests.
- September 2008
- The Steve Meister got busy querying agents this month. It took
a whopping 25 hours plus 2 writing group sessions to fine-tune
his query letter and synopsis. When he wasn't researching which
agent wanted what, he was writing for his upcoming short story
collection, Say My Name, putting the total at 17
stories in various stages of completion. He even entered one of
his stories, "Claudia," into several contests.
